Alfred Salisbury

10/30/1928 - 04/25/2024

It is with great sadness to share that Uncle Al passed away on April 25, 2024 in Shelbyville, Kentucky. A big thanks to Bryon Reed who was his caregiver. They had so much fun together! He was blessed with a long life of 95 years! He would want to be remembered like this, with his beautiful wife Lois.

He was a photographer, historian, and loved poetry and books! He was a veteran and served in the Korean War! In addition, he was a Shriner and Mason. He worked at the Car Industry in Michigan and moved to Orlando and married his wonderful, beautiful wife, Lois. This picture is how he would want to be remembered. He brought so much laughter and love to our lives. We will forever be blessed with the beautiful memories of his presence. He requested cremation and arrangements for burial at Olive Hill will be made at a later date!

He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Jimmy D. and Pearl Cox Salisbury; his wife, Lois Salisbury; brothers and sisters, Fern Martin, Gloria Salisbury, Frank Salisbury, and Smith Salisbury.

He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Bryon and Jana Reed of Shelbyville, KY, Shawn and Patti Martin of Mcdowell KY, and Scottie and Angie Salisbury of Langley KY.

In lieu of flowers please send donations to CrossRidge Baptist Church in Minnie, Kentucky.
